One day I found myself delayed for an appointment and unfortunately caught behind a driver who seemed unaware of certain road etiquette. They were traveling at the speed limit in the right-hand lane, which is often reserved for overtaking. It’s important for drivers to remember that this lane should be left clear for emergency vehicles—or in less urgent cases, for those of us who are running a bit late and need to pass safely.

It occurred to me that there should be a method to communicate to such drivers the importance of keeping the right lane open for these purposes..

One unfortunate day, as I was getting out of my car, my phone slipped from my lap and the screen shattered. Disheartened, I visited a local phone repair shop in the shopping center, only to be quoted a steep $400 for repairs.

Recalling a YouTube video about Shenzhen, hailed as the birthplace of technology and the manufacturing hub for a vast majority of the world’s phones, I speculated that it might be the most economical place for phone repairs. With this in mind, I scoured for the most affordable flights to Shenzhen, eventually securing a ticket for $380 after selecting less desirable dates and layovers.

Upon arrival in Shenzhen, I managed to get my phone fixed for a more affordable $80. In essence, I not only saved on repair costs but also enjoyed a virtually free journey to China, immersing myself in the technological heartland of the world.

As I wandered through this city I noticed an endless arrays of LED lights, inspiration struck. Gazing at the LED panels, I realized the potential for innovation: these panels were begging to be enhanced with voice activation.

Embarking on this journey, I reached out across the globe, tapping into the rich tapestry of human ingenuity. My mission led me to bridge language barriers, using tools like Google Translate to connect with some brilliant minds I encountered in China. This was more than networking; it was about finding kindred spirits who shared my vision.
